Fall does not officially start until September 1, so savor the last 9 days with a summer activity! Dive into some water while you still can! Whether it’s the pool in your backyard, the local lake, or the ocean, take advantage of the last days of summer and go for a swim! Be safe though, and know the signs of drowning before any underwater adventures.

From preschool through high school, educational possibilities of Legos are seemingly endless. Teach preschoolers their numbers, use Legos to inspire writing, learn about math and symmetry, and more!

There are only 9 days left of summer! Here’s a way to take advantage of the heat while you still can. Use a pizza box (preferably a recycled one), and a clear plastic lid from a disposable cake pan. Add a little aluminum foil, and voilá… a super eco-friendly and frugal solar oven!! You can make your pizza with any ingredients you like, and make sure to adjust the reflector to get as much sun as possible directed into the solar oven. You can use a stick or wooden dowel to prop it up, but sometimes a little more foil will work, too.

Laugh! For one, it probably means you’re happy and having a good time. What’s even better is that there are so many other benefits to laughing. You get an internal workout, producing a stronger immune system, which means you’ll fight illness better, live longer, and it’s free! You can’t beat that.
